There are many great handbags out there these days because handbags in general have be come some much more popular. Handbags have become a “can’t go without” accessory for young women, even if they are just running errands in casual dress!
Now if you ask teenage girls they will of course say they want the $30,000 diamond encrusted handbags that they see the starlets carrying on the magazines in the checkout line at the grocery store. If you can afford to buy something at that level for your little darling, then I’m impressed and jealous at the same time! However for the rest of us, here is a list of a few options with a little more realistic prices which are still of great quality that they will want to carry at school with pride.
1. Dooney & Bourke
2. Coach
3. Betseville
5. Jessica Simpson
All types of handbags, including these lines will offer some very pricey options as well (some are insanely over the top) but I chose these five because for all of them they have a good selections of entry level handbags. This means you can find something made with high quality and still nice looking and in style for a price that you don’t mind spending for your high school daughter. They will love the bag and you will love the price.
Not that my little girl isn’t worth it and I want her to have all the best in life, but I just can’t bring myself to spend $1,000 on a bag that I’m afraid she is going to spill something on during the bus ride home. I’ll start her off with a $100-$200 bag and if she shows enough responsiblilty then I’ll think about raising the bar for her on a special occassion, maybe sweet 16 or Christmas next year.
So find a nice starter bag that she’ll love you for and you won’t want to jump off a bridge if it doesn’t get ruined!
